O Lord, show us your mercy;
and grant us your salvation.<\/strong>
Clothe your ministers with righteousness;
Let your people sing with joy.<\/strong>
Give peace, O Lord, in all the world;
for only in you can we dwell in safety.<\/strong>
Lord, keep this nation under your care;
and guide us in the way of justice and truth.<\/strong>
Let your way be known upon earth;
your saving health among all nations.<\/strong>
Let not the needy, O Lord, be forgotten;
nor the hope of the poor be taken away.<\/strong>
Create in us clean hearts, O God;
and sustain us with your Holy Spirit.<\/strong>

Invitatory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Lord, you have searched me, and you know me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up.
You perceive my thoughts from afar.<\/strong>
You search out my path and my lying down,

For there is not a word on my tongue,
but, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.<\/strong>
You hem me in behind and before.
You laid your hand on me.<\/strong>
This knowledge is beyond me.
It is lofty. I cannot attain it.<\/strong>
