In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, 
and the Word was God.<\/strong> 
He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him. 
And without him was not one thing made that was made.<\/strong> 
In him was life, 
and the life was the light of men.<\/strong> 
The light shines in the darkness, 
and the darkness did not overcome it.<\/strong>

Invitatory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lord has ransomed Jacob, 
and redeemed him from the hand of the strong.<\/strong> 
They will come and sing in the height of Zion, 
and will flow to the goodness of the Lord,<\/strong> 
to the grain, to the new wine, to the oil, 
and to the young of the flock and of the herd.<\/strong> 
Their soul will be as a watered garden. 
They will sorrow no more.<\/strong> 
Then the virgin will rejoice in the dance, 
the young men and the old together;<\/strong> 
for I will turn their mourning into joy, 
and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.<\/strong> 
I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, 
and my people will be satisfied with my goodness, says the Lord.<\/strong>

Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem! 
Praise your God, O Zion!<\/strong>

He makes peace in your borders. 
He fills you with the finest of the wheat.<\/strong> 
He sends out his commandment to the earth. 
And his word runs swiftly.<\/strong>

No one has ever seen God.
It is God the only Son,<\/strong>
who is close to the Father\u2018s heart,
who has made him known.<\/strong>

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
