In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am the voice that cries out in the wilderness,
\u201cPrepare ye the way of the Lord!<\/strong>
Make straight his paths:
a highway for our God!\u201d<\/strong>
\u2014 John 1:23\u2020; Isaiah 40:\u2020<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Invitatory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cComfort, O comfort my people,\u201d says your God.
The Lord\u2019s glory shall be revealed,
and all flesh shall see it together;<\/strong>
for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it<\/strong>.
You who tell good news to Jerusalem,
lift up your voice with strength!
Lift it up! Be not afraid!<\/strong>
Say to the cities of Judah, \u201cBehold, your God!\u201d<\/strong>
He will feed his flock like a shepherd.
He will gather the lambs in his arm.
He will carry them in his bosom.<\/strong>
He will gently lead those who have their young.<\/strong>

Cruciform<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surely his salvation is near \u2026 ,
that glory may dwell in our land.<\/strong>
Mercy and truth meet together.
Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.<\/strong>
Truth springs out of the earth.
Righteousness has looked down from heaven.<\/strong>
Yes, the Lord will give that which is good.
Our land will yield its increase.<\/strong>
Righteousness goes before him,
and prepares the way for his steps.<\/strong>
\u2014 Psalm 85:9-13<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weeks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behold, I send my messenger before your face,
who will prepare your way before you.<\/strong>
I baptize you in water,
but he will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.\u201d<\/strong>

Following the seventh bead:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit
as it was in the beginning, is now,<\/strong>

Dimissory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By his promise,
we look for new heavens
and a new earth,<\/strong>
 in which righteousness dwells.<\/strong>
So, as we look,
let us be found in peace,
without defect,<\/strong>
blameless in his sight.<\/strong>
