4th of Epiphany

Cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart,
in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.
The Lord’s works are great,
pondered by all who delight in them.
His work is honour and majesty.
His righteousness endures forever.
The works of his hands are truth and justice.
All his precepts are sure.
He has sent redemption to his people.
He has ordained his covenant forever.
His name is holy and awesome!
His praise endures forever!
— Psalm 111:1-3, 7, 9, 10b

Invitatory

The Lord your God will raise up a prophet from among you … .
You shall listen to him.
The Lord said to me,
“ … I will raise them up a prophet … .
I will put my words in his mouth,
and he shall speak to them all that I command him.”
— Deuteronomy 18:15. 17-18

Cruciform

On the Sabbath day
Christ entered the synagogue and taught.
And they were astonished at his teaching,
for he taught them with authority.
— Mark 1:21-22†

Weeks

What is this? A new teaching?
For with authority he commands even the unclean spirits.
— Mark 1:27

Following the seventh bead:

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit
as it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Dimissory

Lord, now let your servant depart in peace,
according to your word.
For these eyes of mine have seen your salvation,
which you have prepared before the face of all people,
to be a light to lighten the gentiles,
and to be the glory of your people, Israel.
— BCP1928†

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
